    How can I partner with Empower the Minds?

    Where does the money I donate go?

    Empower the Minds partners with various organizations to raise funds for causes such as suicide prevention, cancer awareness, and access to healthcare. We work with many institutions, including hospitals and emergency responders, homeless shelters, and animal shelters. Most of the funds we receive go to these organizations to help them purchase more supplies and provide adequate treatment and support for those in need. Some funds are used to keep our organization running, so we can continue to help the community.

    Classes will be held virtually through Zoom or another platform. The link will be sent once you have signed up.

    What age do you have to be to join?

    Empower the Minds offers a variety of classes and events that people of any age can join and participate in. We offer standard classes based on subjects taught in schools, and other informative classes where people can learn more about advocacy for people of color and the LGBTQ+ community. We also offer events such as summer STEM enrichment camps that younger children will also enjoy participating in.

    How do I sign up for monthly events?

    How long are classes held? And for how many weeks/months?

    The duration of each class will depend on the subject chosen, but classes will usually be 5-7 hours per month, or 1-1.5 hours per week.
